Twitter Tuesdays

If you follow me on twitter, then you’ve probably seen several new features on all of my blogs.  I’m trying to give myself tasks and a plan for my blogs.  It makes blogging regularly a lot easier if you have a plan and schedule.  Here on Simple WAHM, I want to give you all the information you need for blogging, working at home, starting your own business and everything having to do with being a Work at home Mom.  Twitter Tuesdays will be about using twitter to create and enhance your business!  Sometimes I’ll discuss a twitter term, or sometimes I’ll give you lots of cool twitter tools, or people to follow on twitter.  Whatever the case, you’ll always find something interesting here about Twitter on Twitter Tuesdays!

Ghost Twitter -  A Ghost Twitter  is much like a Ghost Writer.  It’s someone who is paid to tweet FOR you.  This is mostly for businesses that just don’t have time, or inclination, to tweet for themselves.

Having a presence on twitter isn’t just about sending out a bunch of advertisements to your followers.  It’s about engaging your followers in a conversation, offering them something to think about, giving to them as much as you get from your followers.  This is not something that you set up and sit back and let things happen.  You have to be proactive about being a part of the Twitterverse.  You have to get involved in twitter parties, with hashtags and extensive participation.  This takes a lot of time and patience, which is why some companies have hired someone else to do this for them… whether it’s a professional social media marketer or someone on their staff.

If you’re looking for someone to help you with twitter, there are things that you need to look for in the right Marketer.  Do they know how to build a following without spamming them?  Do they know how to keep your Follower – Following – Tweet ratio in proper perspective?  Do they know where to find the appropriate Twitter parties for your “brand” or  Twitter account to join in on?

These are all very important aspects of using Twitter to further grow and enhance your business.  If you’re marketer can’t give you good answers for those questions and explain it all to you, then you need to find someone else to help you.  The right Social Media expert can not only help your business grow, but they can make your business stand out in the Social Media world!
