As a blogger who loves free stuff, and who occasionally posts for pay, the FTC guidelines on Testimonials & Endorsements for bloggers really concerned me.  I worried that maybe my well of free things and tiny Huge payments would dry up.  Or at the very least I’d have to pay extra taxes or penalties if I didn’t disclose my relationships properly.  Luckily, there are a lot of smarter more informed people out there in the internet who really understand what’s going on.  So here are some great articles to help you figure out these new rules. For a while now, I’ve been doing a few reviews here and there, on this site, and my others.  I have one website, Books4Moms, that I only do book reviews on.  I love it, mostly because I get lots of great free books, but also because I get lots of great free books!  Of course there are some not so great free books, but the point is the GREAT free books.  I’ve done other reviews on Best Homeschool Place for homeschool services, programs, curriculum, books, games, and even some movies.  I’ve also done some reviews for TV shows on my personal website, Wyndsong Writes.  Reviews are fun!  One, because you get something free, usually it’s something good and fun, and then you have something to blog about!  Something more than just, “Hi, My name is Christine, and I’m a mommy blogger”.  That’s all the GOOD stuff about reviewing products and stuff…. so what’s the bad stuff?
